Course Aims
To introduce Microsoft Project’s essential features, enabling delegates to build and manage a basic project plan, handle task dependencies, and manage resources.
Course Prerequisites
This course suits users with no prior experience in Microsoft Project, although familiarity with general project management principles would be beneficial.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
- Understand Microsoft Project’s interface, timeline, and view options.
- Set up a new project with defined start dates, calendars, and project properties.
- Create and structure tasks, milestones, and dependencies, including constraints and deadlines.
- Enter and manage resources using the Resource Sheet and assign them to tasks.
- Track project progress and set baselines for monitoring
